quai-node / the keepers / status
Your node
Enter the tag and secret your node reports with to see every check we ran and why it passed or failed. Nodes that aren't passing are never shown publicly: this is the only place they appear, and only to whoever holds the secret.
The steps
Each check stops at the first step that fails, at a block 6 below the canonical head:
- 1census. Our census found a live go-quai node at the IP your stats come from. Open the p2p port (TCP 4002 by default).
- 2rpc. Your node's RPC answered us. Open TCP 9200 (or your port) to the internet, with
--rpc.http-addr 0.0.0.0 --rpc.http-vhosts '*'. - 3head. Your head is within 10 blocks of the canonical head, and your block at the check height is the canonical one.
- 4report / p2p. Your reported height agrees with your RPC, and your p2p node hands us the canonical header. For a claimed tag, it's also the node the claim was signed by.
- 5proof. A
quai_getProofMerkle proof from your node verifies against the block's state root.
- ✓ pass: every step held.
- ✗ fail: the step named failed, with the reason.
- ◔ inconclusive: our side couldn't decide (the canonical RPC was down or stale, or our census was still warming up after a restart). It never changes your status or your uptime.
